Hi all. I've tried searching and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I'm hoping that one of your smart folks has solved this challenge before. I've been running a NANOSD with a VP2 setup and some additional sensors for about 5 years. That said, I'm pretty much a NEWB when it comes to understanding the options included with the MB NANOSD and have not tinkered too much.
We use our station to monitor a farm and greenhouse, particularly for the greenhouse temp. We have to go out and roll up the greenhouse sides when it starts to overheat. It can be tricky to keep track of on partly sunny days as 20 minutes of sun can change the temp dramatically. The greenhouse is monitored via an additional temp/humidity sensor and transmitter that I believe shows up in the NANOSD as th2. We also have a soil moisture sensor that we occasionally use, but that's less important.
The only platform I've found that seems to show the additional sensors is Ambient Weather, which works pretty well for our purposes. Our public AWN dashboard can be found here. The downside is that they don't seem to offer any iOS widgets or an apple watch app. I'd love to find a way to get the greenhouse temp to show up as a 'complication' on the watch or a widget on my phone. A quick glance is easier than opening up the AW app and waiting for it to refresh. I've tried PWSWeather, but it only seems to show the ISS sensors.
This may be too much of an edge use case, but I figured I'd ask. I'm a savvy IT networking person, but have 0 experience coding or in the RPI world. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated - thanks!
