Meteobridge PRO/PRO2/NANOSD/RPI Discussion • Drama around WLAN nor working on some RPI4 Revisions

Some of the Meteobridge RPI users that bought a new revision of the RPI4 and found out that WLAN is not working are keeping me busy with drama in PMs and forum posts. I would like to clarify a few things here:

• Meteobridge is shareware with 14 days tryout. So any user should check if the solution fits their needs on their specific platform before buying a license. Apart from that you can refund the purchase according to the rules of mycommerce.com.
• Meteobridge supports a lot of platforms best I can do. There is no guarantee that when a vendor (like RPI Foundation) does change components within new revisions that Meteobridge will still work and I do not have an obligation to solve this.
• My focus is not on keeping RPI users happy, if there is a focus then to my own HW products, which might be understandable.
• In the worst case there is a life without WLAN, LAN works fine on all RPIs (as long as RPI Foundation does not decide to change again HW with a new invented revision to spare $0.01)

I am aware that most users fully understand what a reasonable expectation is and that it is up to me to decide how much time I invest into which "problem area". But some of the RPI folks seem to believe that I have to take care of their RPI incompatibility problems with prio 1. Sorry to disappoint you.
